Dearest people of the universe…

Tomorrow is Monday… That means that Year Six will be off to The Crucible to plot and plan the most wonderful costume creations in the universe…

Afterwards they will be NO DRAMA SESSION… Well not that we have any drama at St Wilfrid’s…

10

Meanwhile Year Five will be Home Alone

No they won’t.. They’ll be spending their time individually or in pairs (with highly skilled ninja like teachers) working on a project to present tomorrow! So Year Five get your thinking caps on because you can choose pretty much anything (apart from underpants in Barnsley in the 1800’s Lenny and William) and get thinking what you could come up with…

Mrs Conway makes a cruel judgement on her husband…

Next week we are working to produce a newspaper report based on Romeo and Juliet… To help you with this it would be a jolly good idea (This is a passive aggressive instruction) for you to create an a3 mindmap based on the story…

Scarlet do not fear… I have not lost your book you lent me… It is still by my sock draw although the pug was looking it at with evil crossed eyes…

Y6 go to the park

Standard

This Friday our amazing Year 6’s went to celebrate the end of Sats at Millhouses Park… We played the Zig Zag game on the zip wire. We also played a girls versus boys game at football where Mr Conway showed Mr Scott a few quality moves and how to shoot.

We had ice creams and scarlet was particularly proud of her honey comb ice cream and recommends this to the masses of S7!

Now that I have your attention as the monster sits on a dubious purple rug before thinking about eating it or anything around it in a twenty metre vicinity lets talk  homework…

Year 6…

Try to relax and be calm for Monday! You have worked wonderfully and can be proud of all you have done…

If you want to firm up those skills even further than try…

Read through the spelling list and your grammar homework book when you can.

Try to go on Timetables Rockstars to help you.

If there are any areas you feel you want to revise for maths use the websites My Maths and Maths is Fun to help you.

To keep you at one with the universe you bring in a small fluffy animal from home but please…

or of an immensely enormous size…

Year 5

We are going to be writing our  Macbeth script so have a rough idea of what happens and we are also going to design an advertising leaflet for Castleton so please research in detail another aspect of Castleton we could use… If you can do this as a Powerpoint or in word and load it on Edmodo this would help…

Maths will all be about coordinates at the start of the week and then measuring angles with a protractor…

If you want further guidance have a look through the link below…

Shakespeare’s sisters… and er.. Thomas

Standard

Thou art will be amazed with the biographies we have written on that fine upstanding giant of literature of writing, William of Shakespeare.. Thomas decided to impart some research he found out about Shakespeare’s dog playing in midfield for Derby and so photobombed the picture on this fine account….

A smorgasbord of activities…

Standard

So good people a question…

This week we spent quality time creating some rather fabulous instructions for a guide to life at St Wilfrid’s. Mr Scott leapt out in a FuManchu move while we were making maths cubes and we taught Y3/4 how to get their grove on with some dancing that would have made Justin Timberlake intrinsically jealous..

But can you spot which is which?
